At the Faculty of Social Sciences, we know the weight of speech and words, but we also know the strength of images. There are pictures that we never forget because they made us travel, dream, feel ... sometimes even cry. Behind these images, there are talented photographers who put their sensitivity and empathy at the service of others, to represent their joys, sorrows, struggles, victories, here, but also elsewhere.
Year after year, students from the School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences "speak" to us about their studies abroad through their photographic pieces.
As a tribute to all these talented student-photographers, the School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies has created a photography contest to enhance their work. Discover their best achievements:
- 1st place: Screens of Me by Lojain Hamwi
- 2nd place: Angkor Birds by Jayde Lavoie
- 3rd place: Ceiling by Amanda Engineer
- Public choice award winner: Gabriela by Gabriella Santini
