Posted on Tuesday, September 8, 2020

The School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies supports the initiative Scholar Strike for racial justice that gathers the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFU), the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT), the Association of Professors of the University of Ottawa (APUO)  and scholars across the United States and Canada to condemn together anti-Black racism, institutional colonial racism and racist and colonial police brutality on September 9 and 10.

Several activities will be offered (see https://scholarstrikecanada.ca/schedule/  ; https://scholarstrikecanada.ca/about/) which may slightly modify the week schedule. Please, check with your professors about a possible class cancellation or any other program modification on September 9 and 10.
