Congratulation to Daniel Boutin, Master’s student in Sociology, on the excellent work he did as part of the seminar SOC 7109, Francophonie, Languages and Power.
He was able to take advantage of the community engagement learning program from Michaëlle-Jean Centre (CMJEMC) to support the Fédération de la jeunesse canadienne française (FJCF) in data analysis. The report he produced was commissioned by consultant Éric Dubeau at the Symposium on Linguistic Security (in french only) held on May 3 and 4, 2019 in Ottawa. In addition, Daniel obtained a job with the FJCF to help organize the symposium.
Congratulations Daniel and thank you to the FJCF and the CMJEMC for contributing to the training of the students of the SSAS!
