Demography at the University of Montreal.

I began my teaching career (where, when?)

At the University of Ottawa in 2006.

I am researching or interested in researching…

African transnational migration, education issues in sub-Saharan Africa, demographic and family changes in sub-Saharan Africa and across these fields, gender relationships and research practices.

Are you affiliated with any other academic units?

The department of demography at the University of Montreal.

Why did I accept this position?

I saw it as a great opportunity to continue some important projects I’ve been involved in for my unit.

My greatest passion:

Spending time in nature with people I love.

The most important part of my day:

Morning and evening.

My favourite quote:

By the Rideau Canal.
