2019 Seymour Martin Lipset Best Book Award: Congratulations to Professor Paul Saurette

The American Political Science Association has awarded the 2019 Seymour Martin Lipset Best Book Award to Professor Paul Saurette of the School of Political Studies (uOttawa) and Professor Kelly Gordon (a PhD graduate of uOttawa and now a professor at McGill) for their book The Changing Voice of the Anti-Abortion Movement: The Rise of ‘Pro-Woman’ Rhetoric in Canada and the United States.

The Seymour Martin Lipset Best Book Award is given annually to honour a significant contemporary contribution to the scholarship on Canadian politics, or Canada in a comparative perspective, or a comparative analysis of Canada with other countries, particularly the United States.
