Apply today, be selected to pitch live, and get a chance to grow your passion and impact into a sustainable venture. Those chosen to pitch will have 5 minutes to give it their best shot.
The Ventures Initiative provides students who are running a social enterprise, social venture or project that is affecting the community with money to move their initiative forward. In order to apply, you must be a current student at the University of Ottawa and you must clearly describe how your initiative is creating social impact.
The social Innovation Competition is open to all undergraduate and masters students at the University of Ottawa, encouraging all students who are working social impact and social venture projects to apply.
While having a project that is already underway and creating an impact is magnificent, we encourage all students to apply even if they are still at the concept and validation stages of their ideas.
Students can apply as individuals or as groups. Fill out the online form.
