The National Taiwan University Rankings analyzes over 800 university research papers in six different fields including general social sciences and economics. This year, the University of Ottawa ranked 147th overall. In the Social Sciences’ field, the University took the 54th rank.
The ranking measures 8 different indicators such as research productivity, research impact and research excellence. The greater weight is given to the number of citations in the past two years and the number of articles published in high-impact journals during the current year.
The National Taiwan University Rankings is one of five most prestigious rankings in the world amongst Times Higher Education, QS World Rankings, Shanghai Ranking Consultancy, and U.S. News Best Global Universities.
