Services offered during the labour disruptions

Posted on Tuesday, October 20, 2020

The staff members of the Office of the Vice-Dean Undergraduate Studies and the Office of Graduate Studies, where all academic processes are dealt with, will not be available during the period of labour disruptions.

We are currently developing alternative measures to deal will the requests that we receive. We are conscious that the delays imposed by the current situation do not make your life easier. Please be assured that we are working as quickly as possible and that we appreciate your patience.

Thank you,

Faculty of Social Sciences

Office of the Vice-Dean, Research

The staff responsible for the management of research funds at the Office of the Vice-Dean, Research will not be available during the strike. As a result, requests for reimbursements, invoice payments, and the opening of research funds are on hold and will have to wait for the resolution of the strike.

However, we will continue to ensure certain services, specifically support for grant submissions, nomination for prizes, Canada Research Chair nominations, and research-related communications. Partnerships and research network development activities are maintained.

All other activities will be delayed.
