CRECS Noon Hour Colloquium: Engaging Patients and Family Members in the Planning and Evaluation of Psychosocial Oncology Services in Ottawa

This research aims to better understand the rapidly growing area of patient and family engagement in the planning and evaluation of health services as a means to improving the quality of patient-centred care. The results of interviews and a focus group with patients, family members and staff from the Psychosocial Oncology Program examining the facilitators/barriers, engagement experience and degree of collaboration with patient and family engagement in health service improvement will be discussed.
