Appointment of Anoush F. Terjanian, PhD, as Assistant Vice-Dean - Office of the Vice-Dean, Research

Anoush F. Terjanian

The Faculty of Social Sciences is very pleased to welcome Anoush Fraser Terjanian, PhD, to the position of Assistant Dean, Partnerships and Research Network Development, in the Office of the Vice Dean of Research. She will play a key role in the development of the Faculty's research strategy. She will work in close collaboration with the Vice Dean of Research and the Faculty's professors to develop research networks and partnerships in various sectors. Anoush F. Terjanian will also support her colleagues in developing larger and more complex research projects that involve multiple external partners.

Anoush F. Terjanian received her PhD. in History from Johns Hopkins University, following degrees in Political Science and History at McGill and Cambridge Universities. She was a tenured Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of East Carolina. She was also the Founding Director of the Anxieties of Democracy Program at the Social Science Research Council in New York. She is currently a member of SSHRC's Governing Council and an associate researcher at the Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS).

Anoush F. Terjanian brings a wealth of expertise and experience that will strengthen the capacity of the Office of the Associate Dean of Research and, more broadly, the Faculty of Social Sciences to support our researchers in their quest for research achievement, excellence and impact.
