Congratulations to Soukaina Boutiyeb! She is the 2020 recipient of the University of Ottawa Alumni Association's Young Alumni Award. What an inspiration for future generations of graduates.
Soukaina Boutiyeb, who holds a B.A. in International Development and Globalization with a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Ottawa (2011) and an M.A. in Conflict Studies from Saint Paul University, is a dynamic young woman who works tirelessly to make her community more equitable and stronger. She is an accessible role model for youth, women, and all Franco-Ontarians who advocate for diversity and inclusion. When she gets involved in a project, she comes with a unique set of experiences, knowledge and contacts that can only be beneficial to the advancement of causes. She is the perfect example of a woman who gives of herself without counting the cost, to make this world a better place.
