Heather Vanzuylen

Biography

Heather is originally from Ottawa and graduated in the top 3% of her class from Carleton University in 2012, earning her a Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement. She earned her Honours in Psychology with a minor in Sexuality Studies. Her academic interests are varied and interdisciplinary with a particular focus on sexuality. Her current research is focused on female pelvic floor health and sexual pleasure, especially in peri- and post-menopausal women. Other research projects include sexual motivation and well-being in peri- and post-menopausal women. Heather is also the proud recipient of an Ontario Graduate Student grant from 2014-2014.
