Symposium on University Governance and COVID-19

Professor Eric Champagne, Director of the Centre on Governance, took part in a symposium on university governance on June 29, 2020. The symposium was organized by the Canadian Bureau for International Education.

The Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE) has launched its first online symposium under the theme « Réimaginer l’internationalisation dans le contexte de la COVID-19 ».

The CBIE symposium will provide participants with an opportunity to reflect on COVID-19, its impact on their institutional strategic priorities and on the way it has propelled innovations for internationalization with current and future implications.

 

"Reflections on post-crisis university governance COVID-19"

In this session, Professor Eric Champagne, Director of the Centre on Governance, analyzes the impact of the pandemic crisis on university governance by examining more closely at the resilience factors that have enabled universities to adapt during and after the COVID-19 crisis, as well as the lasting changes that can be anticipated in the medium and long term.
