The Centre on Governance is very pleased to announce that Professor Nathalie Burlone and Professor Eric Champagne will be participating in a research project on the impact of public health communication strategies and media discourse and its impacts on psychological and behavioral response to the COVID-19 outbreak. The research project is led by Dr. Mélissa Généreux (Département des sciences de la santé communautaire) and Dr. Gabriel Blouin-Genest (École de politique appliquée) from the Université de Sherbrooke.
The research project has recently been awarded funding by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) after successfully competing for the Canadian 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Rapid Research Funding Opportunity.
