Christine Labrie

Christine Labrie, a doctoral student at the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies, is one of the 25 finalists for the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Storytellers contest for her project: “Les mères, les normes sociales et le don d'enfant au Québec (1960-1979)” (video in French only).

Before a panel of judges, she will show how her research could improve our lives and the world around us, during the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences taking place on Monday, May 28.

It is quite an accomplishment for Christine to be amongst the 25 Finalists; congratulations and fingers crossed for the next step!
