
Soukaina Boutiyeb holds a degree in International Development and Globalisation with a minor in Women's Studies from the University of Ottawa (2011), in addition to a Master's in Conflict Studies from Saint Paul University. She is a dynamic young woman who has the wind in her sails but she is also very socially responsible! She has just been appointed executive director of the Alliance des femmes de la francophonie canadienne (AFFC).
Ms. Boutiyeb is currently the executive director of the Réseau du patrimoine franco-ontarien and has also held several positions in the community and academic fields. She has worked at the Centre espoir Sophie, Action ontarienne contre la violence faite aux femmes, CALACS, Saint Paul University and the University of Ottawa. As woman of action, Ms. Boutiyeb has demonstrated strong community involvement. She sits on the board of directors of ACFO, the Fora Center in Sudbury and the Maison d’amitié in Ottawa, of which she is the president. She will formally assume her new role on May 29, 2017.
