
Professor Dominique Bourque accepted the position as Interim Director of the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies. Her mandate runs from July 1st, 2017 to June 30th, 2018.
Professor Bourque is devoted entirely to the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences. She is actively involved in feminist and gender education, her current teachings are, feminist theories, Théories féministes, Lectures féministe and Rapports sociaux de sexe, pouvoir et representations. Her research focuses on feminism, lesbianism and the notion of exile, French feminist theories and practices, literature, art and marginality, sexuality, art and politics, and the un/marking of sex categories.
We are gratefull to Professor Bourque for accepting this mandate and we hope that you will join us in congratulating Professor Dominique Bourque, and wishing her the best of luck in her new positions at the heart of the Institute of Feminist and Gender Studies!
