2018-2019 Spirale Eva-Le-Grand Award: Congratulations to Dalie Giroux

We are proud to announce that Professor Dalie Giroux has been awarded the 2018-2019 Spirale Eva-Le-Grand Award for her essay Parler en Amérique. Oralité, colonialisme, territoire. Since 1995, this prize is annually given to any outstanding essay or essay collection on arts, literature, humanities or culture.

Graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal with a Ph.D. in Political Science, Ms. Giroux began teaching political theory at the University of Ottawa in 2003. Her research presents the many ways in which space, language and power interact in the contemporary world.
