Valerie Steeves is promoted to the rank of Full Professor

The Department of Criminology congratulates Valerie Steeves on being promoted to the rank of Full Professor.  Professor Steeves is recognized in Canada and internationally for her research on human rights and technology, as well as privacy and surveillance.   She currently co-leads the  eQuality Project and is involved in the Big Data Surveillance project, which are both funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.  Congratulations Val!
