Biography
Joe completed his Honours B.A in psychology at Concordia University in 2019 where he studied the roles of beliefs about losing control and self-focused attention in social anxiety. He is entering his first year of the M.A. – Ph.D. program in clinical psychology. His primary research interest is centered on the study of the mechanisms that underlie and/or maintain psychopathology. In this regard, he is particularly interested in investigating the roles of cognitive variables (e.g., focus of attention, maladaptive beliefs, memory, and pre/post event processing) in the aetiology and maintenance of social anxiety disorder.
