Early Childhood Social Relationships within a Military Context

Military families experience a lifestyle impacted by unique factors not typical to the non-military population. These factors include frequent moves, deployment, and lack of social support due to moving, just to name a few.  We are currently conducting a study to examine the impact of these unique factors on the development of the early social relationship between primary caregivers and their children. Participants for the study include the primary caregiver, usually the non-military member, and children from ages 12 months to 6 years old. We are currently recruiting participants from several military bases across the country.

Please note that recruitment for this study is complete.
