Nancy completed her Honours BSc in Mental Health Studies at the University of Toronto in 2014. She is now entering her sixth year of the MA-PhD program in Clinical Psychology, under the supervision of Dr. Allison Ouimet. Nancy’s research interests center upon exploring the relationships between maladaptive emotion regulation strategies and the maintenance of anxiety. She hopes that this research will contribute in understanding some of the mechanisms that may underlie and perpetuate anxiety disorders. In Nancy’s free time, she loves to travel, and expand her knowledge of various foods and cultures.

Thesis title:

Exploring the impact of response-focused emotion regulation strategies on cognitive, physiological, affective, and social outcomes.
