Alumni from the Faculty of Social Sciences are proud ambassadors with an important role in improving our students’ academic experience. Across the country and around the world, we provide our alumni with the opportunity to stay connected to their alma mater, build their professional and personal networks, and volunteer in meaningful ways.
Our alumni are invited to connect with our current students and fellow alumni through initiatives including: Meet the Future You (professional and personal growth conversations), the Shawn and Khush Singh Lecture series, and career workshops and mock interviews.
In 2020, we will be launching video interview series, a podcast series uOttaKnow through the Alumni Relations office, guest blog posts and other innovative projects. By reaching out, sharing their knowledge, and building relationships, alumni are making a remarkable difference for our students and the future of education.
