Publication of the book "The Montreal Canadiens Rethinking a Legend", co-directed by Nicolas Moreau, professor at the School of Social Work, and in which Marie-Pier Rivest, doctoral candidate at the School of Social Work, appears as a contributor and collaborator.

This book is the result of multiple reflections on the Montreal Canadiens. Sociology, architecture, economics and theology take turns in providing particular perspective on this mythical hockey team, perceived here as a social and cultural object. This book is not a glorification of the Montreal Canadiens - rather, it offers multiple points of analyses through the social sciences that allow readers to better understand the meaning and impact of this institution of sport in the day-to-day, for Montreal and the province of Québec and even more broadly, for Canadian Society.
