The School of Sociological and Anthropological Studies at the University of Ottawa offers a distinctive and innovative approach to culture and society, in both French and English.   • Congratulations to Esma Mneina, who was awarded two First prizes (the jury and the public) at at the 6th "Research and Knowledge Mobilization International Forum" by DIALOG in Montreal last November for her poster presentation. The title of the poster was: Mining Mayan Communities - Indigenous Resistance to The Extractive Imperative in Guatemala.
  • An article entitled: L'étranger des Mongols, which covers the research field of Nicolas Rasiulis, student of the Master's program in Anthropology, was published in the newspaper Le Droit on January 9th 2015.(French only)
