Dan Gardner is the New York Times best-selling author of books about psychology and decision-making. His books have been published in 24 countries and 19 languages. His latest book, Superforecasting, written with Philip Tetlock, was chosen as one of the best books of 2015 by The Economist, Bloomberg, and Amazon. In addition to writing, Dan lectures around the world on forecasting, risk, and decision-making. He also consults on how to improve decision-making and implementation. One of his consulting clients is the Prime Minister of Canada. In 2015-2016, Dan was editor of Policy Options magazine, turning it into an online platform for debate on public policy issues. Prior to becoming an author, he was a newspaper columnist and feature writer for the Ottawa Citizen whose work won or was nominated for every major award in Canadian newspaper journalism. Dan holds a LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and an MA in History, both at York University in Toronto.
