Catherine Deri Armstrong

Catherine Deri Armstrong is an Associate Professor in the Department of Economics and an Affiliate Scientist at the Institute for Population Health. She was hired at the University in the spring of 2003 to help develop a new interdisciplinary program in the field of Social Sciences and Health. Her research areas include applied health and labour economics. Her past work has included the examination of social networks, immigrant health and errors in the measurement of self reported health. Current projects include the examination of the long term effects of maternal employment on children's outcomes and the evaluation of various primary health care reforms.
